About

Meet Marlisa

From a young age, I have always loved movies and was a voracious reader. Specifically SciFi. The worldbuild, the character development. I have always been fascinated by people who can create these intriguing worlds. And my love for these stories has led me to believe there are not enough of these stories out there.

I am a Software Engineer by day. In my free time, I am focusing my creative energy towards writing, story telling, bulding immersive world and transforming this to video.

Static Lantern

With the rise of AI video, I am also diving into the world of generative AI video production.

Static Lantern is a project where I create serialized science fiction, told in written chapters. With the rise of AI video, I am also diving into the world of generative AI to assist in creating these video.

The stories are all me, the video will have some assistance.

Chapters are published on Substack and episodes on YouTube. This site will grow into an archive of each series, with its characters, places and lore.
